I have always thought of life like a game … it makes things a little more relaxing and less stressful.

But there are times that can really get intense!

Let’s look at life like a card game, we are dealt a certain amount of cards in what we would call a “Hand”.  In this hand of cards it may be good, bad or indifferent.  Lately it feels that many people feel like the cards they are being dealt aren’t very good.  I know how that feels for the cards in front of me haven’t been the greatest lately either.

What do we do when the cards aren’t the greatest and the stakes keep getting larger and larger?

We have a couple of options, we can curl up in a ball and give up … Wrong!

OR what we need to do is continually stay positive, keep our eye on the target, keep ourselves in position and ready for every opportunity, work harder, work smarter and that straight, royal flush, full house or whatever it is that is going to make us win is in our possession!  (Now for clarity, I am not saying go gamble because most gambling institutions are statistically a 98% loss rate)

We can NEVER give up!  I always (almost daily) remember the story in Napoleon Hills Think and Grow Rich book about how Darby stopped three feet short of Millions of dollars … we have to keep going that extra foot or two because we are always just a few feet from success, those who keep going are the ones that are rewarded!  If you haven’t read the book  … get it today!

Life is what we make of it … so let’s go conquer the world!

I was on the phone yesterday and spoke to a long time friend, co-worker and client.  He is beyond frustrated with the economy, his life, his work and just not in a good place in any aspect … as he sees it.  Let’s look at the scenario, the overall picture many people paint is very grim … but always remember that whatever it is that is going on in our lives is only determined by the perceptions that we allow to be placed on to these experiences.

Let’s look at this with two sides of the coin.  We can not sleep well, wake up tired, frustrated, stressed and not in the mood to do anything.  Or we can sleep well, wake up full of energy and attack the day!  Easy for me to say right?  Wrong, it is a very simple formula and here it is.  Make a simple plan, very basic, do whatever it is that you do to generate income at least 6 hours a day with all the passion you have. Feel good about what you have accomplished each day.  This will give you the opportunity to sleep well at night and wake up ready to attack another day!  But it is not working!  It does take time and the key is Belief.  You have got to believe in yourself that the end result is coming to you.  And for most people it is the money.  See yourself in possession of the money and what service and/or product you provided in return for that money.

Life is simple, we need to always go back to the basics and keep things simple when times get rough.  The rougher the times the more we will need to fill our heads with positive thoughts, read great books like Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill or How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie.  Very basic in form, stories to relate to and written in simple english to understand and implement!

Usually not in the same manner and typically in more abundance!

We never know where life is going to take us … Opportunity is all around us!

While working on other writing projects I ran across a few friends and family members that were having marriage issues.

One person asked me to write down a few pointers … which the list got longer and longer.

Long story short we will be offering here in the near future a 52 week training …

Which will be either online, via teleconference or a combination of both which should be approximately 30 minutes a week.

We will cover some of the most important issues couples face in every aspect of their marriage and how to deal with and better the relationship!

This initial training will be free of charge. Some of the course material and topics may be used in a future book release.

All private issues, including names will stay confidential, only the topic matter may be incorporated to help others!

The training is broken up into four categories, beginning with 12 weeks of building a great foundation!

This will be a lot of fun, hard work and sometimes nerve wracking … but nothing great in life is easy!

In the end if you want the best possible relationship with your spouse … you and your spouse should be a part of this!

Unfortunately I have to limit it to the first 100 couples.

How do you select the things you have in your life today?

(many of the decisions we make on a daily basis are based upon previous experiences and current influences)

What do you base your choices on?

(most of us think on our own but we have influence from many sources pulling us in all different directions)

Who influences you on these decisions?

(we get our influence from the media, tv, radio, newsprint, friends, family, co-workers, church, etc.)

Having balance and clarity in your life will allow the selection process to be much easier.

(so how do I get more clarity and balance in my life?)

The easiest way to keep yourself clear or create a great foundation for you mind to think from is “Lists”

Imagine if you had a “Morals and Values” list and you read that everyday or even just once a week

(you would always know where you should be at mentally and would always have a reference point to refer to)

Making reference lists in all areas of your life can make an incredible difference and a great reference point.

With these lists, read them often and keep them updated as our thoughts, feelings and points of view change.

What are you doing with your life?

The world, the markets and everything else is changing … are you?

What does it take for you take action …

before you will unleash that Tiger inside of you?

We all have it in us …

but less than 1% of the population actually let that Tiger out to play!

See, we all have deep desires …

but most people have buried them so deep that they are not even visable anymore!

Put those dreams, goals and desires back in to the forefront of your day …

Look and accept that these dreams, goals and desires will be yours!

Work every day in the direction of your dreams, goals and desires …

Do the things that you think will get you there …

Do it … Take Action, not tomorrow, not the next day … right now!

Live in the present and take action now … as the future may not come!

Enjoy doing the action … and allow the opportunities to flow!

Remember opportunity RARELY shows itself how you think it should be!

What do you judge?

Who do you judge?

When and where do you judge?

Most importantly … Why?

Can you imagine if we lived a life without Judging?

Just by eliminating Judgment … our lives would become much more simple!

Judging is just our opinion.

Who does our opinion matter to?

Usually … just our self!

So if you just accepted the people and things around you as they are …

You would have no reason to Judge.

You can however … have the desire to want more!

And do this without Judgment!

Try it for a week and see how calm and peaceful things are without Judgment!

But the true reward is not the physical counter part that was achieved but the Journey that got you there!

You can always replace the physical reward by knowing how to get it!

The Journey is the Character builder, the lessons in life that make it worth living!

Along the way you learn to be open to the Opportunity and Possibility …

Allowing the Universe to deliver what it is you are seeking!

Some of the greatest rewards are what your Journey does for others!

The lives you touch, the people you encounter and most of the experience!

There are three distinct groups of people:

First group, take action
Second group, watch other people take action
Third Group, just plain get in the way of people taking action!

Which group do you belong in?

It takes just about as much energy mentally to take action as it does to talk yourself out of it!

So why not just take the action!

Work toward your goals daily.

Be open to the opportunities in front of you.

Believe that the Universe (your belief) will deliver.

You action will soon be transformed into your goals!
