ACCOUNTABILTY … Facebook Style!

I would like the “Opportunity” to share with you a NEW Program that I am testing out right now for my next book, the rules will be stated, my own personal targets will be posted and “IF” you are up for some Massive Gains in your life then join me on this incredible Journey and learning experience.

The rules are simple. Select One thing that you need, want or desire to focus on more than anything. This will be your Number One focus this week.

It can be a project, a daily activity, personal or business. The number one qualifier is it MUST be attainable by the end of the week and you MUST have full and complete control over it. Launching the space shuttle or doubling your stock portfolio  do not qualify.

I am calling this:  “ACCOUNTABILITY FACEBOOK STYLE”
No matter what your profession, where you are at in your life, your past or present does not matter …

But … what you do here will definitely change your future! Have you ever had a dream, a goal or a desire … but just couldn’t seem to get it started or get it done? Here is the “Perfect Opportunity” to  have a complete team on your side to support you, guide you and hold you accountable to your commitment. No matter how Big or how small, personal or business it can all happen right here, right now … IF you can make the commitment!

Those who want to have Monumental Change in your life you will need to do the following: Decide exactly what it is that you want to achieve and ask yourself can it be done in one week? If not which if it is something  Monumental, it probably can’t, so we will need to break it down into weekly steps until it is achievable. For example, my goal is to consistently make a million dollars a month, can I implement this on one week … probably not. But by “Designing and Developing a New System and New Discipline Weekly” it will afford me the greatest opportunity and possibility of getting one step closer to my commitment.

First step is to break down into weekly achievable goals and disciplines into “Systems”. For example, my personal goal is to get back to making 100 contacts a day for my real estate business, can I just jump right back in, probably, but more than likely would completely upset the balance of the rest of my business off. By committing to half that in the beginning at just 50 contacts a day is very attainable! Each week that this commitment is reached I will raise that number until I get to the consistent number of over 100 contacts a day again! This way it is a win-win situation, I feel good about myself, I keep the balance and will undoubtedly increase my business income and intensity! You don’t want to set yourself up with ambitions that are too big and out of your reach. Actually it is better the first week or two to have small, simple goals that are easily attainable to get into the grove of this exercise! Once a couple of weeks go by and you see how easy and how good it feels, we will then step up the Intensity and Create Massive Results!

If you do not reach or achieve your goal for the week … it is very simple, you will need to review the goal and either Re-Commit or Abandon this goal. If you decide to Re-Commit, you will need to re-evaluate the goal and the time frame for true achievability! ( I know achievability is not a Webster word … it’s a Kevin Jones word, as you will see other words from time to time that make sense but aren’t in the proper dictionary, don’t over analyze, just go with the flow)  Once this is done, re-write out your weekly commitment and post your New Commitment so everyone in your network can hold you accountable!

If you choose to abandon, this is fine too, remember, there is no right or wrong here, whatever decision you make is the right decision for you!  It is all about what YOU want to do and have in your life. Please do not sell yourself out or sell yourself short but also on the other hand you have got to do this for you and no one else! There will be some struggle and pain through the process, remember if it was easy, everyone would have it! We can though minimize the struggle through this process!

Now that you have made the commitment, I want you to each morning as soon as you get up and each evening when you lay your head on your pillow to do a quick visualization process. It is very easy and simple. What ever your goal is I want you to see yourself doing the necessary things to achieve it and see yourself at the end of the week having already accomplished it! If you can do this exercise several times throughout the day, even better! This should realistically take about 15-20 seconds for the weekly commitment. you can also see yourself achieving the Bigger picture also! For me I will see myself on the phones, at the end of the week I will be reviewing my appointments, listings taken, escrows opened and finally I will see myself having made 100 calls and much more accomplishment.

In the beginning your mind may play tricks on you, Matthew Ferry calls it the “Drunk Monkey” and our mind is the one thing that we have the opportunity to control. You possess the ability to control it yourself or allow others to. Remember life and your mind is like war, you don’t win all the battles, but with a realistic plan, the tools to operate and the persistence and perserverance YOU WILL have the greatest opportunity to achieve a successful outcome!

The losses in war are not forgotten, they are studied for years, decades and sometimes centuries. Why? To learn from the lesson and not repeat. So at the end of each day write down your Wins and Losses, feel free to share openly or privately.  Reflect on what you did right and understand the lesson(s) as not to repeat by determining the best alternative for the next time!

Each week we will have new info to increase our goals, dreams, amibitions and desires, we will get to the next level … one step at a time!
